KASC Wearmouth Cup 2008

Come and celebrate with us the end of the season 07–08 with this SPECTACULAR event!

 

Event: Dual Slalom and Best Costume Competition for athletes of ALL GROUPS (including NGI Sunday), PARENTS and coaches

Host Club: Kananaskis Alpine Ski Club (KASC) Date: Saturday, April 5th, 2008 Location: Nakiska, Legacy or Mighty Peace

Race Rules: There’s no crying in skiing!

Program: Candy switcheroo game (athletes to bring candy jar and toonie!!) Dual Slalom with timing (first two runs timed) Athletes, Parents,

Coaches Costumes: Theme for parents this year is retro ski-wear! Find those old polyester purple ski jackets and get creative!

After race format: DELTA LODGE BBQ (conference room with outdoor area courtesy of DELTA @ KANANASKIS). Starts at 4.30 pm Social event: YEAR END AWARDS, Wearmouth Cup Awards and the Best Team Costume Award at DELTA

Meal: Dan DeSantis, the manager of DELTA at Kananaskis, will donate 5 CAD towards each meal voucher. Tickets cost for our members have been reduced to following:

 - Athletes – FREE (courtesy of KASC)

 - $20 for adults and $12 for siblings not in a program

 - Drinks – available for purchase at the bar

  • NGI / NGE Spring Camps

    KASC would like invite all NG athletes for one day ski camps in Lake Louise.

    Get your skis tuned up and waxed and support our athletes at the same time! Please take this great opportunity to get your skis tuned up by our K2 athletes.
